On Mobility

The baby is increedibly PO'ed that he cannot figure out this crawling thing, for two reasons.

1) he desperatly wants to move (to play with Buddy)
2) at bedtime, when he is exhauste, he can figure out how to get on his hands & knees.... but CAN'T fiure out how to lie back down!!

"ride" stairs?

I think we need to take the boy out more. Last nght, he was giddy with excitment over the "ride stairs" at the mall..... the escalators.

at the highway rest stop today: "Mommy mommy... that Truck!!! He forgot his other piece Mommy, he for got his other piece!!!!!"

A Mommy Monkey?

Buddy just brought me a flashcard with an 'M' on it (and he knows that 'M is for mommy') but THIS card had a picture of a monkey.... "Look Mommy!!! It's a Mommy Monkey!!!" um.... thanks dude!!

"I can't Handle the Pressure"

Buddy was playing catch yesterday at playgroup with Rosie (one of the staff), when he said to her "Rosie.... I can't handle the pressure!!"

Ain't no flies on us!

Is it more cruel that we handed Buddy a flyswatter, & told him that there was a fly on his head, or that, after swatting his own head, he looked at us & said, "I missed" and we laughed?

While reaing a story about a mouse today, Buddy looked at me and said "M is for mouse too, and for Mommy!!"
