Christmas Socks

When Hubby and I had our first Christmas together, we realized that we didn't have Christmas socks that 'matched at all (size, shape, etc.). So I sat down one night to a very tired sewing machine, and cranked out three new ones, one for me, one for him, and one for Chuck.

His & mine were done with alternating 'colours,' ie my trim was his main sock fabric, and vice versa.

His sock:

My sock:

And for
Chuck's I did completly different fabric:

Last year, for Buddy's first Christmas, I had to crank out another. This time, and I had a fancy, fairly new machine to work with. It went much faster, and much smoother, since the machine didn't jam every minute.
Buddy's Sock:

But I don't think I like his as much as those first three. The trim dosne't really contrast with the sock. I think I'm gonna have to pull it off, and give his a plain white toe & trim for next year.

Toys

There are what, approximately fifty toys in our living room for the baby, right??

So it figures that the ONE toy he HAS TO PLAY WITH, is the only ONE that the poor bunny has:

If I just reach a little further... I think I can get it....
Mama... Can you help me get that toy??  I want THAT toy Mom
Life is rough when you aren't allowed to play with the Bunny's toys, isn't it?

Bunny Jail

This is the look that greets me every morning when I feed him his breakfast:

He gives me a similar look when I am walking past his cage in the middle of the night on my way back from the loo. On the way there I must wake him up, but on the way back: "Hi! you're up! Is it breakfast time? Can I come out to play now?"
Silly bunny, it's 3:00 in the morning. Go back to sleep!

Rabbit of the House

He is amazingly smart (for a bunny). For example, he knows he is not allowed upstairs. That is why he pretends to sleep, until you leave for another room, then he'll boot his little butt up there as fast as he can. And when you notice him and yell at him, he boots it back downstairs, runs right into his cage and sits there, looking at you: "Who me? upstairs? No, that wasn't me. I know that I'm not allowed up there. That must have been some other bunny you saw."
