This past Saturday our town had a "trade show" of sorts. Anyone who wanted to was welcome to put together a booth to attract business and the fees for the booths went to a charity that sponsored kids who couldn't afford to go to summer camps and whatnot.
Our sailing club put in a booth, and we sort of tried to recruit. Mostly we stood around sharing glory stories, but every now and then someone would saunter along who looked like they'd make good crew and we would pitch the club to them. I wonder how many folks will join.
It was a fun way to spend the day.
