This weekend the kids and I will be sleeping on Iris. We needed cushions to do that. Possibly we will need a few other things as well, like dishes. Last night I realized it was my last chance to run up to the boat without the kids before the weekend, so I loaded up the van with all the cushions, the race sails, and few odds and sods.
I had to sprint through the rain to bring everything aboard, and I was pretty wet by the time everything was in place, but now the boat looks like a place you might be able to sleep. In fact, with the lantern providing some warm light, and the rain pattering on the roof I had a hard time leaving to go home.
Feeling sleepy...
